Druga Godba and OFFest start tonight

The audience of Slovenian Druga Godba and Macedonian OFFest will get a chance to go on the 33rd and 16th music journey where different music from different parts of the world will be presented.

The Druga Godba this year starts in Piran, instead of Ljubljana and will include, among others, the three ensembles that will also participate at OFFest in Skopje – Bella Ciao from Italy, King Ayisoba from Ghana and Black String from South Korea.

After Piran, Druga Godba returns to Ljubljana tomorrow, to present at different locations artists such as Jenny Hval from Norway, Inna Modja from Mali, Gaye Su Akyol from Turkey, Derek Gripper from Republic of South Africa, Yasmine Hamdan from Lebanon, as well as Slovenian artists and projects.

The OFFest in Skopje will open  a solo concert of Damir Imamović  at the Macedonian National Theater tonight, and until Sunday the following musicians will perform at the festival – the Portuguese singer Gisela Joao, Macedonian 12-piece Ljubojna ensemble, Estonian Maarja Nuut, Danish Den Sorte Skole and Noura Mint Seymali from Mauritania among the others.
