On Monday, September 30, Klub 1 will host the premiere concert of trio by American guitarist Wendy Eisenberg. This concert will also mark the beginning of the cooperation between Jazz Fest Sarajevo and Klub 1, in which part of the program of this year’s 23rd festival edition will be held.
Wendy Eisenberg will perform in a trio with exceptional musicians – bassist Trevor Dunn collaborated with musicians like Mike Patton in the band Mr. Bungle, and bands Fantomas, Melvins and more, while drummer Ches Smith plays in several bands of Marc Ribot and John Zorn.
In Sarajevo, the trio will have the European premiere of their album The Machinic Unconscious released late last year. After Sarajevo, Wendy Eisenberg, Trevor Dunn and Ches Smith will perform in Ljubljana and Vienna, presenting this album that is on the list of the ten best albums by American Billboard critics.
