From today until October 1st, young musicians interested in jazz, musical improvisation and new music can apply for regional educational program MUSIC MEETING, which will be held from October 31st to November 5th, during XX1st Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2017.
Every year, MUSIC MEETING brings together many young musicians from the countries of the former Yugoslavia, and for sixth time it’s a place where young musicians gather together to play and learn. MUSIC MEETING is not just a meeting place for young musicians but a place for future professional co-operation and friendships.
Musicians and music students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia, in the age range of 19 to 35, can apply to this year’s 6th MUSIC MEETING.
Program participants will participate in numerous activities including workshops, talks and lectures with international lecturers and musicians who will participate in this year’s XX1st Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2017.
For participants of the program, Jazz Fest Sarajevo covers the costs of hotel accommodation, participation in program activities and tickets for all festival programs of XX1st Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2017.
