This Jazz diva won over the audience at the 2008 opening of Jazz Fest Sarajevo with a performance that proved her unique vocal abilities, exceptional charisma and stunning energy – all of which won’t be missing on 07 November at BKC when Dianne Reeves is going to present her latest project Beautiful Life within 18th Jazz Fest.
In her prolific career Reeves recorded twenty albums under her name. After a five year recording brake the new record Beautiful Life was released by Concord Records, the label that also released her soundtrack for George Clooney‘s Oscar nominated movie Good Night, and Good Luck.
Dianne is one of most important contemporary vocalists and a four time Grammy award winner for best vocal performance. She is the only artist to have ever won this prestigious award four times in a row: In The Moment (2001), The Calling: Celebrating Sarah Vaughan (2002), A Little Moonlight (2004) and the mentioned Good Night, and Good Luck (2006).
After three decades of a successful career Reeves concluded that life is beautiful and sings on Beautiful Life timeless compositions of Marvin Gay, Bob Marley and Ani DiFranco including two new, original compositions that celebrate life in all of it’s aspects, with every sorrow and joy.
