Numerous concerts and collaborations with different artists bare witness to his ever growing popularity in Europe. After his recent performance at the iTunes festival in London media headlined him as “the new king of jazz”. He left a fetching impression at one of BBC’s most watched shows few days ago where he appeared with Jamie Cullum on whose new album they together perform the Nina Simone classic Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.

Porter also appears on German trumpeter Till Bronner‘s latest release The Movie Album where they perform Stand By Me while his songs also have a dear place on set lists of DJ’s and producers like Ludovic Navarre aka St. Germain.

The vocalist is highly recognised among American artists as well. At a concert this summer held at Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Porter was joined on stage by Stevie Wonder who did not hide his enthusiasm about the talent and performance of the American vocalist.
