Program for Saturday 09 November

17th Jazz Fest Sarajevo is going to introduce three interesting programs on Saturday.

The trio of self thought guitarist Marc Ducret, who has been on the music scene for 40 years, will perform at 19.00 at Youth Theater. Ducret is prone to musical experiments while staying extraordinary charismatic and expressive on stage. Every performance is exciting and takes the audience to unknown musical journeys.

Tickets for the Marc Ducret Trio can be bought at the box office at Bosnian Cultural Center from 12.00 or at Youth Theater 30 minutes prior to concert start.

Tickets for the concert of ensemble Halka that will follow at 21.00 at Bosnian Cultural Center have been sold out yesterday. There is a chance that a small number of tickets will be available just before concert start since there is a certain number of previously reserved tickets by audience coming from abroad or other Bosnian and Hercegovinian cities than Sarajevo.

Halka will perform within Jazz Fest’s Next Generation program that serves the festival for years to introduce Bosnian and Hercegovinian music projects based on traditional music. Until now Damir Imamović, Amira Medunjanin and Arkul have performed and this year we are introducing Halka – a new Sevdah sensation on local music scene.

At club Monument, tonight as well, starting 23.00 trumpeter Miron Rafajlović is going to play with his quintet with a jam session to follow.
