The Bad Plus on European Tour

American trio The Bad Plus will play a series of concerts in Europe’s venues and on festivals presenting their new album Made Possible, and on 31 October we will be listening to them in Sarajevo within the 16th Jazz Fest.

The tour starts on 23 October in London at the legendary jazz club Ronnie Scott’s where they will play two nights in a row. After that the Dutch audience will be listening to them at Amsterdam’s venue Bimhuis, where annually 300 concerts of cross genre temporary music take place.

Before they come to Sarajevo, they will play in Beriln, and after Sarajevo they are going to play in Munich, Luxembourg and Paris, where they will have three concerts in one of the most important jazz clubs of Paris, the famous Le Duc des Lombard.

At their European tour pianist Ethan Iverson, double bassist Reid Anderson and drummer Dave King, also known as the “accoustic jazz trio of the future” as critics like to call them, are going to present the repertoire of their album Made Possible consisting of original compositions. They will also play covers of popular compositions like Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Enjoy!
