After he closed Istanbul Jazz Festival this July with a premiere of his new project The Dance of the Invisible Dervishes, Dhafer Youssef continued introducing his projects on festival stages and concert venues around Europe, Asia and Africa.
Beside the mentioned project, this Tunisian vocalist and oud player concentrates on performing with the ensemble Divine Shadows and introducing his latest album Abu Nawas Rhapsody, which he will also introduce on 3 November at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Sarajevo.
Dhafer is one of important artists whose work Jazz Fest has been following and introducing regularly on festival stages. This will be his forth performance in Sarajevo after his 1999 concert with Markus Stockhausen, 2003 concert with his ensemble Digital Prophecy and 2006 premiere duet performance with Bojan Zulfikarpašić, when he also performed with his quartet.
