Within the 16th Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2012, from 30 October to 4 November, as part of the festival program, a Music Meeting will be organized.
It is about a series of workshops and talks with international artists aimed for young musicians and music students from the country and the region as well.
Jazz Fest will host 40 young musicians from Bosnia and Hercegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia. Musicians outside the frames of jazz, interested in exploring and finding new approaches in creating music can apply as well.
The workshops will be held by German guitarist Frank Moebus, Norwegian producer DJ Strangefruit, drummer Paolo Vinaccia, Brazilian female guitarist and singer Badi Assad and pianist Bojan Zulfikarpašić. Talks with festival guests like Richard Galliano, Yuri Honing, Omar Hakim, Dhafer Youssef, Husnu Senlendirici, Rick Margitza, Larry Coryell and many more will take place every day.
