Batković’s artistry as a composer is on the tract of the classical music tradition of minimalism, in a virtuous creation that overcomes abyss between melodies and patterns.
He is the author who adds his own discourse to the tradition of minimalism in art music, enhancing it with the richness of changing minimalist motifs that do not allow monotony. In the spirit of classical musical styles, Batković does not forget the melody itself, elegantly weaving it through his recognizable repetitive patterns.
