Beyond Europe SARAJEVO 2022

The Europe Jazz Network (EJN) and the Jazz Fest Sarajevo are organizing a music conference titled “Beyond Europe SARAJEVO 2022”, which will take place in Sarajevo, from June 2-4, 2022.
The conference will bring together music professionals who are members of the Europe Jazz Network, as well as other promoters, agents, producers, musicians, and music journalists from countries in the region. Representatives from more than 30 countries will take part in the conference.
The conference will also be an exceptional opportunity for the participants to establish contacts, and it will give a chance to local musicians to develop connections with European and international concert organizers – representatives of different festivals, concert venues, and clubs. It will be an opportunity for international guests to get familiar with Sarajevo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a tourist and cultural destination, and to send out to the world a beautiful image from Sarajevo.
As a part of the showcase musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia will present their current works and projects. The program will also feature musicians from Slovenia, Turkey, Spain, Iran and Cuba, including panels, discussions, as well as a film screening.
The Beyond Europe SARAJEVO 2022 music conference is is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, that is supporting EJN through its network strand 2022-2024. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Government of the Sarajevo Canton and with the financial support of the Cantonal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
