On the fourth day, XX1st Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2017 will present seven festival programs.
At 12.00, Italian historian Francesco Martinelli will hold a lecture Night of Tunisia on the influence of Islam on jazz, while at 13.30 there will be a workshop of B&H singer Nataša Mirković on universal voice leading. Both programs are open to the public.
Four concerts will be held in Dom policije today. The Swedish saxophonist, improviser and composer Mats Gustafsson, one of the most appreciated free jazz saxophonists by the music critics, “the king of the Swedish improv scene” and “the true musical explorer” will perform a solo concert at 18.00 and at 19.00 perform bass player William Parker and drummer and percussionist Hamid Drake on the main stage of the Jazz Fest. One ticket is valid and available for purchase for both concerts.
At 21.00, the French-Belgian trio Hermia-Ceccaldi-Darrifourcq, which is not afraid from the unexplored musical spheres, will present with a 60-minute concert and afterwards, at 22.30, will be a concert of the Austrian Kompost 3. One ticket is valid for the both concerts as well.
Concert and jam session will be held again tonight at Jazzbina as a part of the Late Nite Stage Festival program.
Trumpeter Trajče Velkov, saxophone player Kiril Kuzmanov, double bass player Edvin Hadžić, pianist Filip Dimiškovski and drummer Viktor Filipovski will perform at this venue.
Tickets for all concerts that will be held today and in the next days at Dom policije can be purchased in the box office at Dom policije from 12.00 to 23.00. For programs that will be held in Jazzbina, tickets are sold at the entrance to the club.
