“We have a special edition of the oldest music festival in our country in head of us. This year’s festival was prepared as the last one, as a final statement by an art director whose main goal is to offer a musical experience, regardless of genre or any similar determinant. Instead of presenting different composers, this year it will be only one, but his works will be presented in the performances of various ensembles that play and sound different. The special feature of this year’s edition is also the third part of the trilogy John Zorn in Sarajevo called Beyond good and evil, which in our case is the highlight of an idealistic program.
However, the biggest feature of this year’s festival is that it will happen at all!
Announcing this year’s edition as very special, we announce the next as a bit different and in a new format. Enjoy incredibly diverse and exciting program of XX2nd Jazz Fest! We can say with certainty that we have at least one concert for anyone who loves music. The only thing you need is to be curious enough to discover the program for yourself, although it’s best to experience the festival as a whole because of its excellence.
