This year, XX2nd edition of the international music festival Jazz Fest Sarajevo represents a new festival concept and new business cooperations as well. The contract with the Heineken brand has been signed, which will be the main sponsor of the main festival program of this year’s edition, but also the sponsor of the XX2nd regional festival scene of Jazz Fest.
Jazz Fest Sarajevo and Heineken continue this year the long-standing cooperation they had in the years when Jazz Fest organized its main festival scene in Dom policije venue, where the festival returned last year to the satisfaction of its audience.
“Heineken, as a truly global brand, is supporting some of the world’s most important festivals around the world, such as the biggest European jazz festival organized in Rotterdam – North Sea Jazz Festival, the Swiss Montreux Jazz Festival or the Spanish Jazzaldia, so it is understandable that this year again we are with Jazz Fest Sarajevo, which has been consistent in quality for many years at the very top of music festivals”, said Alen Pecirep, marketing director of Boreas, a long-time Heineken representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Jazz Fest organized a concert of great guitarist Mary Halvorson’s Quartet in September, and the concert of the French band AutorYno will take place on the 20th of October at the Sarajevo War Theater (SARTR), while the main festival program i.e. the final part of the trilogy John Zorn in Sarajevo – Beyond Good & Evil with total of 16 performances will be realized on November 2 and 3 at Dom policije venue and SARTR.
The program of the Heineken Late Nite Stage club scene will take place from 1 to 3 November at the Jazzbina Club and will present regional artists from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
