Tonight at 19.30 saxophonist Håkon Kornstad will be performing with his ensemble and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, conducted by Christian Eggen.

We’ve listened to the Norwegian tenor and tenor saxophonist at Jazz Fest for the first time in 2007 and later in 2014, when he held a solo concert at 18th Jazz Fest presenting his solo project Dwell Time. The Sarajevo concert was broadcasted by Norwegian National Radio and later released on CD as Live in Sarajevo.
Håkon Kornstad is performing tonight with his ensemble consisting of Sigbjørn Apeland (harmonium, celesta), Lars Henrik Johansen (piano, harpsichord, celesta, cimbalom), Per Zanussi (double bass) i Øyvind Skarbø (drums).
