After last night’s great beginning of the 20th Jazz Fest, today, on its second day, the audience can look forward to 7 concerts.
The program starts at Pozorište mladih, with the first concert at 18.00 by Tatran, a trio representing musicians of the young generation. After a short intermission, at 19.15, the exceptional French guitarist Marc Ducret is going to play a 30 minutes solo concert, followed by the Samuel Blaser Trio at 19.45, the ensemble of Switzerland’s rising star.
At Bosanski kulturni centar at 20.30, the German duet of trumpeter Markus Stockhausen and pianist Florian Weber, top artists with prolific careers and discographies, recipients of many awards, who are going to present their joint project Inside Out, while at 22.00 on the same stage, the virtuous Taksim Trio is going to perform the repertoire of their new album.
Tickets for these concerts can be bought at BKC (from 10.00 to 23.00) and Pozorište mladih (an hour before concert start). Tickets for the midnight concert of Matija Dedić are sold out. Matija is going to perform the music of his late father at 23.45 at Gradska vijećnica, presenting the regionally most successful piano project in history.
Starting at 23.00 at Club Monument, begins the performance of BH musicians and regional guests, followed by a jam session of Music Meeting participants, Jazz Fest’s guests and everyone else willing to join them on stage.
