Premier screening of the drama Red Rose for which Ibrahim Maalouf composed all soundtrack pieces was shown at Toronto International Film Festival that is taking place until 14 September.
This movie by Iranian director Sepideh Farsi shows the love story between a young activist and a middle-aged man whose relationship unfolds through political debates about the uncertain future of their country.
Red Rose is not the first movie Maalouf composed a soundtrack for, 12 of 24 pieces of a soundtrack for the biography drama about the life of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent were composed by the Lebanese trumpeter.
