Al Jarreau and Dianne Reeves collaboration

American singer Dianne Reeves who is going to perform at this year’s 18th Jazz Fest, is among guest artists on the new album of American singer Al Jarreau that’s going to be released tomorrow, 05 August.

With his new CD, the multiple Grammy award winning American vocalist is honoring his dear friend George Duke, keyboardist, composer, singer and producer who passed away last year. The album consists of Jarreau’s reinterpretations of Duke’s compositions and is called My Old Friend: Celebrating George Duke.

The album was produced by John Burk, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller and Boney James. Beside Reeves, other guests on the album are Gerald Albright, Marcus Miller, Lalah Hathaway, Jeffrey Osborne, Kelly Price and  Dr. John.
