In years to follow Pat Metheny, Paal Nilssen-Love and Michael Brecker were among resident artists, as well as artists we saw and listened to at Jazz Fest Sarajevo: Arild Andersen (2000, 2001, 2005), Joshua Redman (2007), Terje Rypdal (2002), Nils-Petter Molvær (2006), Arve Henriksen (2005) and Dave Holland (2001, 2010, 2011).

“The role of artist in residence is a great opportunity for me to gather some of mine main projects from the past 10 years. My residency at Molde Jazz Festival will is entirely be devoted to free improvisation with some of mine main collaborators from past years”, was announced by the singer, composer and lyricist who is among world’s top improvisors and prolific Norwegian artists.

Listen to a duo performance of Sidsel Endresen who performed at 11th edition of Jazz Fest in 2007 and Stian Westerhus whose music we have enjoyed several times at Sarajevo’s festival.
