American guitarist of Italian origin Al Di Meola is finishing a new project All Your Life, a kind of homage to the music of The Beatles.
The new release was recorded at the Abbey Road Studio in London. According to Di Meola’s website, the CD will be released in May this year. The album will consist of reinterpreted songs of the legendary British rock quartet, and few Di Meola’s original compositions inspired by The Beatles’ music.
“This is a project I have been dreaming of my whole life. There is no music that made as huge an impact on the world like that of the Beatles. This music started it all and it has for most of us and myself the same thrill now as it had back then”, said this guitarist.
Al Di Meola is one of the most influential guitarists of contemporary instrumental jazz. He will promote the new album on tour starting in June.
