Kristjan Randalu, the winner of Jazz Award Baden-Wuerttemberg 2007 and Estonia’s 2011 Elion Jazz Award, is going to spice up Dhafer Youssef’s project Abu Nawas Rhapsody with his piano on 3 November live at the Jazz Fest stage.
The Estonian artist has been a successful soloist, composer, arranger and associate of famous names such as Dave Liebman, Ari Hoenig, Nguyên Lê, Ben Monder and Dhafer Youssef, and he played with chamber orchestras of Stuttgart, Berlin and Tallin.
Extraordinary musical expression, excellent technique and remarkable sensibility brought Randalu on world’s most important stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Berlin Konzerthaus but also to numerous music festivals in America, Europe and Asia.
Kristjan Randalu released his latest studio recording Equilibrium this year with American jazz guitarist Ben Monder.
