46th Montreux Jazz Festival

The 46th Montreux Jazz Festival goes till July 14 presenting important names of world jazz, blues, pop and rock scene in the idyllic atmosphere of Lake Geneva.

Festival visitors will enjoy performances of young rising artists who will share the stages with renown names during 16 summer nights. These are just a few participating names: Bobby McFerrin & Chick Corea, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Melody Gardot, Rufus Wainwright, Sérgio Mendes, Paco de Lucía, Pat Metheny Unity Band, Herbie Hancock, Alanis Morissette, D’Angelo, Chris Cornell, Lana Del Rey, Tony Bennet, Bob Dylan, Nightwish, Van Morrison, Bobby Womack, Erykah Badu, Spectrum Road, Buddy Guy, Kimbra, Neneh Cherry & The Thing.

The Monterux Jazz Festival was established by Claude Nobs in 1967. In it’s 45 years of existence it has grown into a unavoidable summer destination for music lovers. Almost all significant artists of the last five decades have performed on the stages of this festival, from Miles Davis to Ray Charles, David Bowie and Prince.
