Applications for Music Meeting are now open!
Music Meeting, the Jazz Fest Sarajevo’s educational program, is becoming a European program this year. As part of the International Music Festival Jazz Fest Sarajevo – taking place from November 5 to 8 – it will bring together young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and all across Europe.
The program is open to musicians and music students, regardless of the genre they play, study, or prefer. Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old and come from Bosnia and Herzegovina or any other European country.
The host of the program is Damir Imamović, and lecturers will include musicians and educators from the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Music Meeting will bring together 30 participants who will attend lectures, talks, workshops, and masterclasses, with opportunities for joint performances.
Applications are open until October 6 via THIS LINK, where you can also find more information about the program. By October 10, selected participants of Music Meeting 2025 will be announced. They will receive free hotel accommodation in Sarajevo, access to all educational activities, and complimentary tickets for all Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2025 concerts.
Music Meeting is an educational program that Jazz Fest Sarajevo relaunched last year. From 2012 to 2016, it served as an important regional platform for the informal education of young musicians and music students, bringing together more than 300 participants over five years. This year, for the first time, the program will host young musicians from all across Europe.
