Madrigals

Among some of the most sensual creations of John Zorn, there are two books of Madrigals scored for a capella ensemble. These vocal counterpoint challenges are inspired by the poetry of British romantic poet Shelley, in the subtle spirituality that permeates through the music from first note to last.
