Bill Frisell is a 2004 Grammy award winner for Best Contemporary Album while The Guardian called his Guitar in the Space Age project “serious, witty, layered and subtle”.

“The ones among us who grew up at the time of Kennedy and the moon landing thought a bright future is imminent but the cold war, the fear of a nuclear war, the fight for human rights and Vietnam had to leave an enormous mark”, said Frisell while evoking the time “rock ‘n’ roll’s innocence”.
