Although the concert of Brazilian artist Hamilton de Holanda stayed for six days due to the great interest of visitors Jazz Fest for this concert , his performance will be held at the Bosnian Cultural Center instead of the Youth Theatre as previously planned. Brazilian virtuoso on bandolim, Brazilian traditional instrument similar to the mandolin , will perform at the 17th Jazz Fest Sarajevo on Thursday, 7th of November. Concert Hamilton de Holanda will be held , as previously announced, before the concert of Jack DeJohnettea group, i.e. at 19.00.
This is the second concert of this year’s Jazz Fest, which due to the great interest of audience was moved to a larger venue. Last week, tickets for the concert of David Gilmore’s Art of Ascension Trio were sold out before the opening of the festival box office, and the directorate of the festival decided to organize this concert in BKC hall instead of the Youth Theatre.
In this way, Jazz Fest will allow all those who wish to enjoy the concerts of Hamilton de Holanda and the trio consisting of David Gilmore , Matt Garrison and Gene Lake.
Tickets for all festival concerts can be purchased at prices of 12 and 24 KM at the box office in the Bosnian Cultural Center , every day except Sunday , 12:00 to 22:00 .
