At the beginning of February, the 55th Grammy Awards will be given away in 108 categories, among which is the category for Best Children’s Album, with five nominees.
Among the nominees is the album called JumpinJazz Kids—A Swinging Jungle Tale, that has been released last year. The record is filled with compositions played by Grammy winners, vocalists Dee Dee Bridgewater and Al Jarreau, and flautist Hubert Laws with a jazz quintet and symphony orchestra.
The compositions follow befitting narrative parts that present the adventure of 7-year-old Claire, and stuffed animal friends in the search of a lost fairy-tale by her grandfather. Watch segments from the premiere of the project shown in February 2011.
