The club program of the 16th Jazz Fest called Late Nite Stage will present Bosnian and Hercegovinian musicians who will play every night starting with 30 October to 3 November at the club Monument in Štrosmajerova street.
The performances will take place after the festival concerts at the BKC finish. Planed are jam sessions of local artists and participants of the Music Meeting, which is going to gather numerous young musicians from Bosnia and Hercegovina and regional countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo.
This will be an opportunity for the audience to meet new jazz forces, and a chance for musicians to establish new collaborations and bring some needed novelty to the country’s and region’s music scene.
On Tuesday 30 October Sarajevo Jazz Guerilla Octet feat. Banda will perform. Their usual ensemble, saxophonist Darko Poljak, guitarist Dino Šukalo, bassist Edvin Hadžić, accordionist Adis Sirbubalo, keyboardist Bojan Ahac, drummer Anes Beglerbegović and vocalist Elvir Bandić will be joined by Bosnian trumpeter living in Canada Miron Rafajlović and guitarist Boško Jović.
Until 3 November on that same stage will perform the ensemble TAAK Trio made of drummer Dr. Amar Češljar, guitarist Kerim Jašarević and bassist Dinko Šimunović and the trio of guitarist Boško Jović while on the last festival night the Rafajlović Brothers Quartet will premier in front of Sarajevo’s audience.
