This day will bring two exciting programs – Tawadros brothers concert at the Youth Theatre and a concert of top artists gathered in the quartet of John Abercrombie.
Abercrombie is a tireless experimenter with a long career of more than four decades. He has published nearly 50 albums, out of which more than 30 as a leader of various bands. This quartet brings together exceptional musicians: violinist Mark Feldman, bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Joey Baron. John Abercrombie Quartet concert will take place at 20.00 at BKC.
The same evening at the Youth Theatre Joseph and James Tawadro will perform at 22.00. Young brothers Tawadros although only in their twenties, are already important names on music scene and we can say that their time is yet to come.
Joseph Tawadros is a true virtuoso on the oud, an extremely demanding instrument but in the hands of master technician a whole new world of unimagined possibilities of the instrument are opened, which is complemented by the knocker riqom in James’s hands, which takes the listener on a journey through dreamy and still unspoiled landscapes of sound.
